MAAT Booking Privacy Notice

MAAT Booking supports your relationship with Maat Wellness, including account access, bookings, memberships, training and billing.

Information we use

We process information provided when you create an account, book a service, enroll in a program, make a payment or contact us. This can include contact information, bookings, enrollment records, membership activity and payment references.

We use this information to deliver services, maintain your account, communicate about your bookings and resolve support requests.

Google Calendar connections

When an authorized administrator connects Google Calendar, MAAT accesses the connected account’s identity and calendar information to synchronize the MAAT schedule and check for booking conflicts.

Google’s event responses can include event details. For external-calendar conflict protection, MAAT stores busy-time intervals and technical identifiers rather than displaying private event titles or descriptions to customers. MAAT also creates, updates and removes calendar events associated with its own managed schedule.

MAAT stores authorization tokens, synchronization information and event mappings so the connection can operate without requiring a new sign-in for every synchronization.

Use and sharing of Google data

Google data is used only to provide and support the calendar connection and scheduling features. It is not sold, used for advertising or used to train general-purpose AI models. Access and transfers are limited to providing these features, permitted support and security work, and legal requirements.

Our handling of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Payments and other providers

Payment services, calendar providers and other connected services process information needed to perform their functions under their own privacy policies. MAAT retains payment references and accounting records needed to administer purchases and memberships.

Account and shopping features use cookies. Embedded third-party content may also use cookies under the provider’s policies.

Disconnecting and privacy requests

An authorized administrator can disconnect Google Calendar in MAAT. Disconnecting clears the connection’s stored authorization tokens and active synchronization state. It does not automatically erase existing calendar events, independent booking records or backup copies. You can also revoke access through your Google Account.

Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information. Some records may need to be retained for accounting, legal, security or service obligations.
