Module 2: Rekh

Discernment, Meaning & Transformational Inquiry

How do I transform myself before attempting to transform others?

Module Overview

A focused path from study to embodied practice.

Rekh is the capacity to know, perceive, and discern. The battlefield of the Bhagavad Gita becomes a mirror for the inner field where conditioning, fear, duty, attachment, identity, and possibility meet.

This is Mental Yoga in practice: learning to separate what happened from the meaning you made, remain present with complexity, and choose responsible action without forced positivity or spiritual bypassing.

What to Expect

Meet the inner battlefield

Use Arjuna's conflict to examine conditioning, loyalties, fear, identity, and the choices in front of you.

Practice discernment

Work with presence, meaning-making, breakdowns, possibility, accountability, and the seven-step Rekh inquiry.

Apply Mental Yoga responsibly

Practice inquiry in relationships, work, teaching, and community while honoring scope and ethical boundaries.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Distinguish observable events from interpretations, predictions, and inherited meanings.
  • Use embodied presence without confusing it with passivity, numbness, or suppression.
  • Analyze a real-life case through the Rekh inquiry process and choose an accountable action.
  • Facilitate Mental Yoga inquiry while recognizing when a need belongs beyond a yoga teacher's scope.

How You Complete It

Complete the assigned Gita readings, core distinctions, practice labs, a 21-day experiment, and the “My Battle Within” applied reflection.
